Yonder, a modern credit card FinTech, is entering the travel insurance space.
It will launch travel insurance for all member in the coming weeks.
This will focus on Covid and cancelled or delayed flights as these issues continue to cause problems for holidaymakers.
Similarly topical, it will cover holidays within the UK as long as they are 100km away from the customer’s home.
What does this mean?
Yonder currently aims to “rebuild customers’ relationships with credit” and says that while traditional credit cards offer coverage, it’s now ”behind the times” -- so Yonder has worked with AXA to build a travel insurance policy around the needs of its members.
