Revolut authorised for stock broking in US

Revolut has been authorised as a licensed broker-dealer in the US. 

In Brief:

Revolut will be able to expand its stock trading platform into the US. 

Revolut Securities will offer access to stocks, cryptocurrencies and ETFs in the US. 

Eventually, fractional share purchases will be available. 

What does this mean?

Revolut already enables some trading in the UK market and aims to compete in the US market, where it launched last year, with the likes of Robinhood.
